Toni Gardemeister [Suzuki WRT]:

"I ended the day having a touring car race with Subaru driver Brice Tirabassi. It was incredible, I caught his car and drove to the end of the stage right behind him - it was like there was a tow-rope between the two cars. We'd lost a bit of time in the last two stages this afternoon, which wasn't so good, but this morning I was happy. The car was running well and we weren't having any trouble. I also felt a little bit better, which was quite nice for me."

Conrad Rautenbach [PH Sport-Citroen C4 WRC]:

"We've had two punctures today. Sometimes you just get days like these..."

Andreas Mikkelsen [Ramsport Ford Focus RS WRC]:

"I drove well and our times are good but the puncture we had on the previous stage has dropped us out of the top 10."

Henning Solberg [Stobart VK M-Sport Ford WRT]:

"Today has been mixed fortunes for us but in the end things have turned out good and the mechanics have done an amazing job to make the car suit my driving style. We were seventh fastest on that last stage and I am very very happy with this. I don't know what I hit on stage 11 but all of a sudden I could feel the tyre vibrating and I knew I had a puncture so we had to stop and change it but luckily the car didn't fall off the jack like yesterday! Tomorrow I want to go out and see if we can learn some more and hopefully set some more fast times like the last one today."

Martin Prokop [Citroen C2 S1600: [JWRC - leader]

"I'm very pleased with today. This morning, I was torn between the idea of trying to take the lead or settling for second place. In the end I pushed hard and that ended up paying off on SS9, where I managed to get past the local driver who was leading. In that same stage, we came across some slippery sections that could have been tricky. Despite these difficult conditions, our Citroen C2 Super 1600 behaved really well. My advantage of 29.2 seconds over the next man this evening will allow us to control things tomorrow and not take any unnecessary risks. If I win, I will be on the final podium of this year's Junior World Rally Championship."

Pierre Campana (Renault Clio R3): [JWRC - second]

"We only made one small mistake today in SS10, which cost us about 10 seconds."
