Results: 7th on Monte, 12th in Sweden, 15th in Mexico [re-started after going off road on leg 2], 9th in Spain, 4th in France, retired in Argentina [engine], 2nd in Sardinia, 3rd in Greece, 9th in Germany, 3rd in Finland, 3rd in Japan, 3rd in Cyprus, 2nd in Turkey, 1st in Australia [first WRC win], 2nd in NZ, retired in GB [damaged roll cage in off].
2005 World Rally Championship in a privately entered Ford Focus - except in Finland and Japan. Joint tenth in drivers' championship. Scored 14 points. Results: retired in Sweden (technical problem), retired in Sardinia, 4th in Greece, 4th in Finland (Ford Focus - second nominated driver), retired in Japan (Fabia), 3rd in Spain.
Second on the 2005 PT-Rallye de Portugal (non-WRC event).

Results: Retired on the Monte Carlo Rally, ninth in Sweden, fifth in Mexico, seventh in NZ, fifth in Cyprus, retired in Greece, sixth in Turkey, fourth in Argentina, retired in Finland, eighth in Germany, seventh in Japan, seventh in GB, retired in Italy, tenth in France, eighth in Spain, fourth in Australia.
2003 World Rally Championship with M-Sport / Ford (Focus RS WRC). Joint 15th overall in drivers' championship - scored 3 points. Results - retired on the Monte Carlo Rally, 11th in Sweden, retired in Turkey, 10th in NZ, 16th in Argentina, retired in Greece, sixth in Cyprus [scored first WRC points], 13th in Germany, retired in Finland, ninth in Australia, retired in Italy, 10th in France, 14th in Spain and retired in GB.
2002 Competed in over 24 rallies as part of his 12-month training and development programme to break into the WRC.
Finnish Championship - won the F2 category in a Volkswagen Golf Kit Car.
Competed in some Italian asphalt rallies in a Citroen Saxo Kit Car.
Contented part of the Italian Subaru Trophy Championship.
