Bayliss wins race two at Assen.

Troy Bayliss made up for his DNF in race one by winning race two of the ninth round of the Corona Extra Superbike World Championship at Assen by a convincing 9.342secs.

The race got off to a dramatic start with Troy Corser, James Toseland and Noriyuki Haga crashing out at turn one. Haga charged into the lead but it seems he missed a gear and hit Corser, the impact damaged Corser's brakes and he was unable to stop for the first corner taking Toseland down with him.

Being a true gritty Brit Toseland got his stricken machine back up on its wheels and re-joined the race, finishing in ninth place and salvaging a few points for his championship.
