Kagayama wins, Bayliss crashes.

Yuki Kagayama on the Alstare Corona Extra Suzuki took a hard fought win at round ten of the Corona Extra Superbike World Championship at the Eurospeedway in Germany.

Troy Bayliss on the Xerox Ducati was leading the race until lap four when he crashed. He was able to restart in twenty third place and worked his way into the top ten. He got up to eighth place and was battling with his team-mate Lorenzo Lanzi when he had another off track excursion. He rejoined with out losing any positions on track and on the next lap he passed his team-mate to take a well earned seventh place.

James Toseland on his Winston Ten Kate Honda didn't have the race he had been hoping for running in fifth place. On lap fifteen he ran a little wide allowing Alex Barros and his own team-mate Karl Muggeridge to get ahead of him. And whilst still running seventh he ran on into the gravel trap which pushed him down to ninth place when he rejoined.
