Preview - EuroSpeedway Lausitz.

James Toseland is hoping for a strong showing at the EuroSpeedway this coming weekend to further extend his championship lead.

The battle for second in the championship is still on, with Fabien Foret on the GIL Kawasaki attempting to keep his 39-point lead over Katsuaki Fujiwara on the Althea Honda, and who won at Lausitz in 2002, while simultaneously resisting challenges from the ever-competitive Robbin Harms on the Stiggy Motorsports Honda and Brands Hatch race winner, Broc Parkes for the Yamaha World Supersport Team.

Other riders to look out for include Joshua Brookes riding for Stiggy Motorsports Honda, Massimo Roccoli on the Yamaha Lorenzini by Leoni, Barry Veneman for Pioneer Hoegee Suzuki and Craig Jones on the Revè Ekerold Honda - and maybe 2005 and 2006 champion Sebastien Charpentier for Hannspree Ten Kate Honda, who went pole at Brands Hatch, only to be excluded from the final results. Last time there is was Sofuoglu who picked up the race win.
