Alstare Suzuki's Troy Corser managed to increase his Corona Extra World Superbike championship lead at the British round of the series last weekend at Silverstone.

Hi folks, welcome to my third column after my two second places at Silverstone in the UK. What can I say, but it takes consistent finishes to win championship and that is all I'm going for.
After Monza I went back home to chill in Monaco, which was strangely the same time of the
F1. Its always nice to get back there when it is on because normally, not in the last couple of year but before that, we were always racing when it was on. I Took young Josh Foster – the Australian kid over here in the Suzuki GSX-R cup – so we both went over there and hung out on a boat and watched some F1!
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not a F1 buff, I don't follow it every weekend but obviously when it is at my home, in my own back yard, its pretty hard to pass up! It is probably one of the best ones to go to because it is in such a small area. One of our sponsors was there so we actually managed to get pretty close to the action.
It was really busy over there, obviously I'm used to being around the place everyday, but F1 really causes chaos when it comes to town! It shuts down the whole town and unless you've got a ticket you can't get anywhere close. We were lucky in that the cars were probably no more than eight feet away from us, so it was quite loud to say the least, but the atmosphere was great.
My family is great, my wife Sam is quite pregnant at the moment, and she is getting round a bit easier now. She broke her big toe a few weeks ago so she was struggling at Monza to get around. She's got to get around better now as young Kalani is running faster now! But we had Sam's grand parents here, Bill and Brenda, and they help out when things are busy, so it was a real nice family atmosphere last weekend.
