Hi Yuki fans,

Racing in Misano was very hot and difficult but I got my first podium of the year. It is a long time since my last podium at Mangy Cours last year. This year when I have chance for podium position I have some shit luck - or a crash, or there is a problem with bike or something! So I don’t get a podium.

At Misano I got a podium, this is good, but our target is to win, we are working to win. I’m happy but we need more.

This year I have had many crashes and I still have some injuries - my right wrist, right ankle, and my back are the problem, I have some small pains. By the time you read this I will be on my way to Japan. I am going back to Japan to have a check-up then at the next race at Brno I will come back with the perfect body! There is break in the season now but I don’t have a holiday. I will just go to the hospital, see a specialist and do special training. No holiday, just working.

In the World Superbikes this year there is a lot of competition, all the four cylinder makes gives everybody very similar potential. Ducatis have good potential so everybody is very close. We don’t have an advantage so it is a very hard season. I was racing with my friend Haga-chan, in the first race I beat him and won and in the second race he won - but I enjoyed it. If I had had two more laps maybe I could have caught him, but this is racing.

It was Kalani Corser’s birthday on Friday at Misano, Sam Corser organised a birthday party for all the children. It was so noisy - babies and children, maybe fifteen or twenty, noisy, noisy. I think it is easier to race than go to a children’s party.

See you at Brno…

Yuki-san
