The enlarged 15-round line-up contains two confirmed new venues, Miller Motorsports Park in the USA and Portimao in Portugal, plus two 'To Be Announced' events.
this should make for an interesting championship with the mouthwatering battles of Haga, Bayliss maybe Checa(?) and Kiyonari(?)
can one of the soon to be announced rounds be held in africa preferrebly South Africa as i seem to remember they used to hold moto gp races there in 2002

I read that one of the TBA slots could be filled by Istanbul Park, and what about an Asian round? WSBK hasn't been to Japan since 2003 @ Sugo, when the JPN manufacturers had a falling out with FGSport. Now that the JMMA are back in full force in WSBK, a track like Suzuka or Tsukuba would be perfect for a WSBK round!

Yes, for a 'World' series, there isn't too much outside Europe. Let's lose some of the European rounds and get them to S.A., Japan, Turkey, & Malaysia too?

AMEN to WSBK coming back to the states!!!! We've missed it so much, and gotten pretty anxious with MotoGP coming back finally, but now I'm happy!! Too bad I'll have to take two weekends from work, one for the Indy GP, and now Miller in Utah!!!
With the 'spec' tyre rule. "wild card" rides are a thing of the past. You might ave one, like Tommy Hill, but that's because he already runs Pirellis. Remember wen they used to race @Sugo, and JAP. wildcards like Kitagawa, Ryo, Tamada, etc. used to doinate their home round! The majority of the riders in the JSB series are using Bridgestones, so even if WSBK went back to JPN, doubt you will see a 'stacked' grid of wildcards.

What with Sofuoglu coming up it would be nice to have Istanbul Park on the calendar. Great circuit and it would be a chance to introduce the natives to proper motor racing, where they can support a top rider.
