Biaggi takes a 'break'.

Biaggi takes a 'break'.

The Roman, who fell from his Sterilgarda Go Eleven Ducati at around 200km/h during race two in Australia, has been told that the mild climate of the Indian Ocean location will help his many bumps and bruises heal, although his fractured left wrist remains in a cast.

 4 people agree.

Take your time Max, get fit and ready for some awesome spectacle at Assen on th 27th..

Max, don' t worry after two absurd crash, you need more rest than you thought.

Maybe you can get some extra lesson to learn how you can ride and stay on bike without falling?

Max has added a lot of entertainment to wsbk, and whether you love or hate him you have to admit he's one heck of a rider. I hope he's back on full throttle for the next race.

Go Biaggi, get well soon.
you make wsbk more entertaining now.

Biaggi is so unfortunate in that's 2nd race of 2008

Last to 2nd - crashed
Last to 3rd - crashed.

If only he had got those points his amazing ride would have justified the risk.
Sadly, it didn't pay off, and 7th in the championship doesn't reflect his performance.

Bayliss must be laughing (not as Biaggi's injury), but at the points gap!

I've been a huge Mad-Max fan since his 4 championship winning 250cc days and still am BUT this lack of consistency is just simply not good enough for a man of his talent and ability!
This is the year I was hoping he'd fight for and win the Championship having learnt the tracks last season but you simply cannot afford to dash away 50 points to Troy Bayliss this early!
The season is very long BUT he must stop these TRULY SILLY CRASHES / errors, Mmost unbecoming for a Rider of his calibre and ability!
He could have won race 1 as Bayliss' tyres were shot to pieces or at worst finished 2nd. In race 2, he was clearly the quickest man and yet again....! Just a simply annoying weekend!

Noj37. I agree in some of the things you say. I have followed max since the early motogp days and have watched all of his races since. And the character i enjoy watching race is biaggi, no matter what the resault might be. I guess hes unpredictable, and i love it. ;)

I don't much like Biaggi but respect his riding skills enormously. I felt more empathy for him at Philip island than I've ever done before. Not sure whether he would have beaten Bayliss. Bayliss as canny as he is as wild when he has to be and had some in reserve. But Biaggi's sheer spirit impressed. He took calculated risks based on his own skill. He's an arrogant sob but I think his 'risk assessment' was right. The chance things would go so far to rat**** was outweighed by the chance & the need to net serious points.
