Checa, Kiyonari confident - Sofuoglu struggles.

Checa, Kiyonari confident - Sofuoglu struggles.

Having missed several pre-season tests, Hannspree Ten Kate Honda believes it is finally be back on 'level ground' with its rivals, after testing a series of new engine and chassis parts for the '08 CBR1000RR during last week's Valencia test.

Sofuoglu needs a good fitness progress to improve his condition? And he should be more focused on both fellow riders and his lap times. If everyone improves and only he has problems unknown, team manager should see and warn him! He is a good rider but needs more attention to his job if he wants to be a champion!...

Kiyonari is a hidden candidate so suddenly we can see him on podium in some races. His ability on bike improved suprisingly after Qatar.

Checa is the favourite with his experience and confidence. If he behaves hungry for podium he will also win some races?

Anyway it is pleasure to see Honda' s back!...

I think Sofu just needs to adapt his style and settle, and if indeed he has got fitness issues as he claims then I'm sure that will be sorted in time too. I think because he set such a high benchmark last season in wss he now has the sword of damocles hanging over is head. There seems to be a lot of expectation surronding him and as a Cypriot Turk myself this makes me very proud.

He is definitely a battler, and if you cast your minds back you'll remember it took him around 2/3 of a season to come good in his first year in supersport. It's like that with some racers; they struggle for a period and something just clicks and then all of a sudden they become competetive. This may yet happen.

After James Toseland, Hannspree Ten Kate Honda needs a new Star. Checa could be a star if he is not old enough.

Kiyonari or Sofuoglu will fight to have chance being new star, Both of them are young, Kiyonari is only 1 year older than Kenan! Anyway let' s what happens?

Ninja against Turk ???

Mamma Mia Via Turchi!!!

Don't write Sofuoglu off too soon simply because he's not settling in as quickly as Checa & Kiyo. They're both superb riders + Checa's ridden a huge range of bikes competitively. Kiyo's been on a 'Blade (different in detail but broadly similar for two years in BSB). Keenan Sofuoglu's just come up from 600 Supersports. A Superbike's seriously different. I'm not so much surprised by how long its taking him to adjust as surprised how well he did so soon at Phillip Island. Give him time. It might take him most of this season, but I reckon he could very well be one of the future greats. He showed phenomenal and consistent talent last year.

Hedgeholder,

Please let me sign your message.

But with your permission;

"he could very well be one of the future greats" will be as

"he could very well be one of the future' s great CHAMPION!...

His objective is in 2009 from what I read!...
