Good turn out! should be a great race. No dukes on the front row............4 in the top 12.......
Does that mean us XEROX DUC fans are allowed to start crying about the Suzukis cheating somehow.
LOL
Just hope its a great race..... although i still think Baylisstic will make the podium.

Great! Neukirchner on 1. Wish this would happen in a race.

Jacko, this is WSBK 4 bikes per row! Bayliss is on front row. No Ducati fan is going to complain about the Suzuki's, as it makes it clear that this is not a Ducati cup! Biaggi out of superpole!!! It will be a hard sunday for Max. I still predict Bayliss and Xaus to go strong,
Guy - it's Friday. There's still QP2 tomorrow morning for Baggy to make it into Superpole. I'd guess that his wrist is giving him a bit of gyp!! Dead pleased with Neukirchner, hope he can keep it there all weekend - couldn't happen to a nicer bloke.
Changing the subject - Yammies don't seem to be that happy. Would have expected Valencia to have suited them...

Very suprised by the Yam's tbh, i've been emailing Nori's manager Toshi and he felt they'd identified and ironed out the problems from the previous two rounds, would seem not though, maybe the tyres still not right for the bike, be sad not to see them up front challenging. Plenty of time before the race to iron this stuff out though. Nice to see Max N and Yukio up there, especially yuki-san given his non-stop bad luck re: crashing and hurting. Suprised that Biaggi is that far back even with an injury....guess i compare more injuries to how Bayliss would deal with them...not fair on the other guys cos he's near enough superman lol. Brands might snow so might watch this at home instead!
Nice to see the new promo pics of the XEROX bikes too. The livery has been re-doneand at least now you can actually read there sponsors name. !lol!
Thank god
The last lot were cr@p

Guy 1098 - Qualifying is 1 thing the race is another entirely. This used to happen with Haga on a 750cc machine, but he had to ride out of his pants to keep up with the easy going characteristics (lazy) of a twin. Anyone who has ridden both types of bike will get what i mean. :(

Timbo....You seem to think that the 200cc advantage is unfair, ok fair enough.....but figure this, I was talking to Troy on the Monday after PI and he said he went 1sec faster on the old 999 on the Saturday morning, he also stated the 1098R was like a truck to ride...maybe that is because of the extra weight they have to carry. They may have a lazy power band, but they are definitly not a lazy bike to ride as you would know if you have ridden one of their sports bikes......it is only the third race, if there is a disavantage with the bikes then more changes will happen.....Wait and see what happens before you start calling it the Ducati cup ;)
As Duke @ ee say, the 1098R (as most of the Ducati's) demand more out of the rider in terms of physical action. Would be funny to See Dani try to ride the 1098R AS IT IS, thus not a "kid" version as the HRC 990cc bike he got for his first MotoGP year.
Jacob Smrz's 7th is pretty good, when you think this is a out of the box customer bike....definitely going to be a few quick customers riding around ;)
