Both were battling for their first ever WSBK victory and emotions were naturally running high after the incident - which left Neukirchner with a fractured collarbone - but were back on civil terms on Thursday (pictured).

Nice one Max its refreshing to see a bit of sporting attitude rather than handbags at dawn for the rest of the season!

Carlos and Max are two grown up's. It was a racing accident with a terribly bitter aftertaste for Max.

Good that as result these "accidents" bring racers closer together rather than further a part...
