Lavilla suffered two bad getaways in both Assen races, much like his Honda mounted countryman Carlos Checa. Lavilla then proved to be among the quicker and most consistent riders on track as he raced through the field.
Agree totally. He was a joy to watch in BSB, cutting a swathe through the pack, just like Zorro!! He's missed over here - not least by me, and not only for his riding ability!!
