Biaggi fractures finger in Smrz smash.

Biaggi fractures finger in Smrz smash.

But then, just three laps from the finish, fellow 1098R rider Jakub Smrz made an ill-fated attempt to pass the Sterilgarda rider into the second chicane.

Yeh Biaggi, don't go to Utah (seems like a nice track from rFactor), you may risk braking a nail, or damaging your hair style....
Racing with Xaus and Fabrizio, it was not obvious that Biaggi deserve a factory bike at 2009!! The other Ducati riders was swarming around Biaggi like bee's while "Hornet Bayliss" was way way far away at the front racing for a win.

He was fighting for wins at the first 2 rounds until he got injured. thats all that needs to be said.

he clearly isnt fully recoverd, either in the wrist or head. either way he is right yet. tho was going well in race one until kagayama kept cutting the chicanes and messed up his momentum. but 5th was the limit

your first line is very foolish, if u like the guy or not dont talk garbish about another biker being injured its not what biking is about. i dont like rossi but id never want to see him getting hurt.

see how fast u would be with your fingers broke.

Get well soon max

Max is fast if he wants to! I remember Mugello, he was riding really well with a broken finger(on the Yamaha), but now it seems that it more in his head than his body.Max can ride like a god if he is motivated, but he can also be totally crap and only blame anything else than himself!
Don't be a full,I don't want Max to get hurt,I was only a bit sarcastic about the injured small finger.

remember the age he was when he rode a yamaha and the age he is now. makes a big difference.

its the ring finger that is important.

it may be in his head, i dont know im not his doctor.

People can slag off Max all they like but he is still and always will be one of the best riders in the world ever and his supporters will stick with him through thick and thin.

Max has had a hard time after his accident at Philip Island and knock him at your peril. Max will be back in 2008 with a vengeance, just you see.

GO BIAGGI!

It is very true that once you start breaking bones more often, it is probably time to think about returning but look at Bayliss, 39 years old and kicking everyone's ass!

Max is 37 (I think), so maybe one more year and call it a day I recon. He probabably doesn't deserve a factory ride in 2009 but it would be great to see him given the opportunity and retire on a high.

Whatever the outcome, whether Max retires at the end of this year or next, I am very, very glad that have been a Biaggi supporter and although it has been hard at times, I am proud of his achievements and he will always be my number one.

All the best Max.

Agreed ZX9R Steve... people like Biaggi, Bayliss, Rossi, Capirossi, Haga and now Lorenzo make top level motorcycling so good.

In fairness to Biaggi he was thrown down the road at 140mph at PI, when you guys critisizing him have thrown yourself into the countryside at that speed and got back on and riden around being able to keep up with Bayliss et al i may listen!

He is probably at an age where he has crashed enough to realise he is a mortal! unlike lorenzo who is young and although having a huge crash is still driving forward blindly! a lot of racers go off the boil when they realise they are not invincible! He has still given us some great racing! Biaggi v Rossi anyone!??!
