Noriyuki Haga insists he can still catch Troy Bayliss as he heads to the United States for round six of the World Superbike Championship.

Ok so there is a faint glimmer of hope that Nori can catch Troy...but if he thinks he can do it i'm not going to argue and i'll be cheering him on till my voice is no more....Go #41

Yeah, yeah!! Go Nitro!!

But, why did he wait until now/this far along inthe season to get serious about attacking the leader? I mean to say, 80+ point deficiency on Bayliss is no easy feat!

At best, I see Noriyuki ending up in second place......again.

He didn't "wait" as you put it but he has had an awful start to the season, something he seems to be plagued with. Didn't help that he hadn't got over the Biaggi thing as that caused a major off due to a rush of blood to the head. Got to agree TLR, i think 2nd is the best he can hope for, especially given that the Indonesian round has been scrapped and not replaced...thats 50 points gone right there.
In any case we can hope. BTW anyone who is a Nori fan should know there is a new column on the Yamaha website...past one's have been rather amusing..KenKen the snails story being my favourite that i've read so far
