I hope the recent performance (practice & race) by Jakub Smrz aren't going unnoticed by the works teams

Right you all know i'm a Hagalout so there's no fanboyism in what i'm about to post.

Troy B has shown the way again, this is not a Ducati track supposedly and it's new to them all. He is showing his class for sure and proving that he's the top guy in the field. In a way i'm glad because it just proves that he makes a difference and it's not just down to the bike. I love my guy but i have the utmost respect for Bayliss.

I'm not happy that Nori is so far down but TC is up there so there's always hope (he'll get his set up if it's useful anyway )...this place is going to eat tyres by what has been reported so a low position on the grid might really affect him.

N1 Troy and Go #41!

Don't worry there's still time for Nori. There's probably more pace to come from the circuit once the riders get to know more about it, so he has as good a chance as any tomorrow. Hoping Smrz qualifies well though too.

I really thought that Bayliss would struggle here being that he's much older and the old adage being that you can't teach an old dog new tricks...I was sure that Bayliss dominated most of the regular WSBK tracks based on familiarity and experience but now..I am really in awe of what he has accomplished and as a result proved. To be the fastest guy in a new track says a lot about his talent. It makes his pole in Daytona even more special because that was the first time he lapped around there too....this guy is really special...he can ride fast anywhere and on almost any bike any time....I have found an even greater respect for him which I thought was not possible. Go BAYLISSTIC missile!!!!!
