Bayliss quick - but wants to go quicker.

Bayliss quick - but wants to go quicker.

Troy Bayliss is confident there is more speed to come from himself and Ducati Xerox, even after easing to provisional pole position and a new lap record around Miller Motorsports Park, round six of the World Superbike Championship.

"Bayliss, Assen WSBK 2008 Bayliss quick - but wants to go quicker." LOL, They all want to go quicker! I'm still undecided about the 1099 displacement rule. Do people still think they have an unfair advantage?

THIS GUY IS STILL RIDING LIKE A YOUNGSTER IT WILL BE A SHAME IF HE DOES RETIRE AS HE IS GETTING FASTER WITH AGE AND WILL BE MISSED IF HE DOES RETIRE AND I WOULD NOT LIKE TO BE DUCATI AS I CANT EVEN THINK OF A REPLACEMENT THAT COMES CLOSE TO TROY!!!

Shakey would be a good fit if Troy leaves as planned.
He clearly can ride a Ducati, look at 2003, won the championship and the double at Brands as a wild card in WSBK, has knowledge of some of the circuits from his MotoGP days, is young enough to have a good crack for a couple of years, and has a character (sadly missing from a number of the current flock)

Defo worth a punt

Completely agree stokesy

shakey is proving he can ride the ducati again this season, he's
blitzing the rest of the field and making it look all to easy..

id like to see him in WSBK after motogp didnt work for him..

hopefully ducati sign him up!

as much as i like shakey i really dont see him as a bayliss replacement and cutting it in the world championship on a factory ducati as there is a huge difference between airwaves and wobbling around british tracks with a field of youngsters cutting their teeth in the game and travelling the globe in a factory team fighting with experienced riders who are at their best and have been there and got the t shirt.

i feel shakeys trouble is that he doesnt have a natural aggression and in a straight fight with haga and bayliss he would come of worst he should stick to bsb and realise world championships are over and make a name for himself in bsb winning many more races and titles!!!!
