Yep, true enough.
I can understand Ducati wanting an Italian on the bike, but Lanzi, then Fabrizio, when will they learn?
They should get Xaus back on a works bike. He was always quick but tended to crash too much. He seems to have calmed that aspect, so give the boy a second chance.
