This will have done his head in big time.
He has had so many crashes & injuries perhaps its just time to call it a day before he kills himself.

Hope its not as bad as it sounds, Tommy certainly doesnt deserve this. Hopefully he can look back on this as the lowest point of a long and glittering career. Keep the faith Tommy and here's to a full and speedy recovery.

No racer deserves this amount of bad luck, least as nice a guy as Tommy Hill. Just hope when he does return he gets the opportunity to get the results his talent deserves. Get well soon mate

The ONE thing I said before the race started was PLEASE have a safe race and that idiot piled up the inside and wiped out 5 riders including Tommy! It's SUCH a shame for him just as it looked like he was getting himself back into proper action again. I feel so sorry for him.

It's such an injustice to him, after all these months of rehab and physio. Get well soon
mate and I hope '09 is better for you.

Hi ZX9R steve, I think it was Tode? on a Triumph. Barrelled up the inside going into the first corner like he had no brakes and took out Hill, Jones and 3 others.
The race was red flagged and unfortunately Eurosport then had to go to Le Mans for the 24hr race so I never got to see the re-start.

(cont)...and just reading the results I see Tode finished 8th in the re-start.
No justice.

How much bad luck can one man have? I hope that this is the last of the bad news for Tommy and that he can make a come back again in the near future. The paddock would not be the same with Tommy.

Good luck, Tommy

Tommy
You must be so disappointed, just do as the docs say all over again,.. you'll soon be back. Its obvious them upstairs want you to take some time out.

Get well soon Tommy, thinking of you. Hope to see you about the paddock some time soon. Keep up with the artistic leatherwork too!!!

Best Regards

Mrs H

the tail-end that took him out scored points, yet put venemann, hill and degea out of the race. something needs to be done about it. a tire-iron to the knees would be a good start...

unlucky again tommy, it's just not your year. let's hope the eurosport appearance money tides you over until you're fit enough.
