He's too hot & cold from one race to another, definitely not consistent enough so far to warrant staying in works Ducati team.

sadly i believe that fabrizio will be on the factory 09 ducati purely because he is tardy's blue eyed boy.if the rumours are true and that shane byrne is on the possibilities list then i feel it would be a bad move for him is i think that fabrizio would get better treatment. The big thing is who do you put on the other factory xerox ducati? options BIAGGI(getting on a bit and hasn't performed consistantly enough )SMRZ ( done ok in patches but never in a factory set-up )XAUS ( too inconsistant and did someone say CRASH )

Despite a tendency to the view that a well balanced bike's one with a chip on each shoulder in the best digger tradition, maheadebear might even be right :-)

Corser, ancient tho he may be, is a pretty tidy development rider.

Beside his performance, and yeah obviously it would help him if he made it to the top 5 consistently, his ability to provide useful feedback as a development rider ... assuming he can do that ... could also help Fabri keep his ride.
