Paul#46 - He couldn't catch Xaus! This isn't gospel, but at the start of the year Haslam said that he would be doing the British WSB rounds as well as the Suzuka 8 hour. Rob Mac said he would be entering Karl Harris, GSE also said they would be wild carding, however recently there have been a lot of rumours that GSE will not be at Brands although I have not heard any rumours about the others. One problem is the extra cost to the BSB teams because they now run lower spec engines than WSB. It's not just a case of bolting in a new engine they would have to do extra testing to get the right setup. Some of the BSB bikes are also running less electronics - with less power they don't need as much

Cheers for the info on the wildcards... it would be great to see all those guys there. With the opportunity for people like Byrne and Haslam to take valuable points away from the people challenging Bayliss for the title, and at Brands its highly likely they would, I wouldnt be surprised if the manufacturers helped with the cost/engine differences...
