Aprilia on track, claims Hofmann.

Aprilia's World Superbike plans still look to be going to plan after Alex Hofmann revealed that testing aboard the new RSV-4 is continuing to go well.

your lap times must be slow mr hoffman, because if they were good or close to last years time, you would of been shouting about that and telling us loudly, and aso about how incredible a rider you are.
still though i like aprilia, get jezza back on there and we'll see how fast it realy is!

So whats still all about this b....**** bout Huff !!
Who was riding the MotoGp Ducati 2007 in the top ten, with laptimes mostly within one second to Casey ! His replacement rider Guintoli is not, Elias is not, neither Melandri is capable of. They are all more than 2 or 3 sec, sometimes 4 sec !! off the pace of Casey and all slower on every track this year than the Huff was in 2007. I bet Ducati or D ´antin would switch all three of them for Hofmann, if they only could.
Who else please, you guys think would like to ruin his moto gp career on the Ducati?
I think, only Troy the boy, Hayden, or Gibernau would do good on the electronic monster!

Well said SoCal-Rider. The Hoff is a fine rider - obviously not up the top level in MotoGP, but very good nonetheless and if the Aprilia is a competitive machine he surprise a lot of people in world superbikes. Let's hope they race it in 2009.

why would aprilia want to show their hand and reveal their lap-times???
best thing to do is keep quiet and then surprise everyone during official testing at the start of next season.

the V-4 engine sounds like it could be a fantastic motor. if they use the "long bang" configuration Duc are using in MotoGP it could wipe the floor with the competition with the right development and electronics.

i wonder how much the road going version will cost?? Road legal 1000cc V4... BRING IT ON!!!

So CAl - Barros kicked his ass in 07. Nakano too on the Kwak

I think the only guys he will surprise in 09 will be Aprilia. the only reason why he was in mgp for so long was because there wee no german riders there.
