Congrats to kiyo & chukka! now that suzuka is over, kiyo can concentrate on WSBK & will no longer have to adjust back & forth between 'stones & pirellis & showa suspension & WP, also not having to fly back & forth to Japan to test, will hopefully allow him to improve his results in the last remaining races on the WSBK schedule.

Did you see how beautiful that Honda DREAM CBR 1000 RRW looked?
Awesome!!!
Wish the 08 Fireblade can look a bit like that. Pray the 09 bike will have a new look.

er, that's your excuse for his poor results? There was Japanese GP pilots that did it - Ithoh, Ukawa, Okada, and Kato - who didn't race the same bike or tires. Kiyo is still on a superbike! There are numerous GP and World Superbike winners (Edwards, Russell, Merkel, Polen, Gardner, Doohan, Lawson, etc.) that did the tests and still challenged and won their championships. Hopefully he can get it together (like last round)because as a 2 time BSB champ he ain't exactly shinning light on that series.

His results maybe down to the Honda being a little off pace. Is it the bike causing his poor results? The Honda usually is better after the 8hrs because HRC filter down the extras. We will see......

@ Raw Dawg
actually no where in my post did I mention any 'excuse for his poor results'...on the contrary, his first year in the series, on new tires, learning new tracks & yes, an entirely new bike compared (w/o benefit of winter testing) to last year's model, he is acquitting himself quite well...remember his first year in BSB was less than spectacular & took him awhile to get to grips & perform at the high level he exhibited as a 2 time BSB champion...i agree with you 675, the livery on the Dream CBR is fantastic!

Never mind Kiyo, i can't beleive Charly Chucka rode for 8 hours and didn't throw it into the scenery....did no-one else turn up?

Kiyonari is a class act and should only get better and better from here on in. 2 x BSB Champion and now Suzuka 8 hour winner. He's had some decent results in WSBK already for a newbie. Was it Monza where he was tussling for the lead with Haga and co ? That's quite impressive having never been to Monza before.
