The Jones Boy was destined for greatness, gutted. My thoughts go out to his family, he will truly be missed.

It was a real shock when i heard that a British team rider had gone down in a serious accident. He was a great rider and a young one too. I feel sorry for him friends and family being put through all this. I also hope that Pitt doesn't feel guilty as he had nowhere to go. He tried his hardest to avoid Craig.

RIP Jones

We will all miss you

Guys, while some people may have their views on Carl Fogarty, this is not the time or the place to bring them up.

We have already had to remove one post and such comments will not be tolerated at a time when we should all be paying repect to a fine young rider who will be missed greatly in both the WSBK paddock and elsewhere.

Please consider this fact when making a comment.

I am truly saddened by the news i just heard, i have been watching superbikes and supersports for many years and i can honestly say i have never seen a rider try harder than craig jones, he always gave 200 percent and it showed right till the end...he was one of the true british heroes in this sport and will never ever be forgotten.
A sad day for the sport has just happened as a future world champion has past away.
R.I.P mate x x

Joney was one of those lads full of passion and determination. Anyone who was there will remember Donington a couple of years back when he won on the very last race for Valmoto Triumph. The feeling amongst the crowd will never be easily forgotten.
This is a total tragedy, but also reminds that EVERY rider who goes out, risks life and limb to entertain us, the crowd. They are heroes all.
RIP Craig.

I was devastated to read of Craigs demise. Watched the race as usual on Eurosport and as always, he only new one way to ride 110% and thrill to the crowds. I am the wrong side of 60 and am not ashamed to admit I write this with tears streaming down my face. I am so desperately sorry for his family and friends. God Bless.
