Corser: I could stay with Yamaha.

Troy Corser has revealed he is on the verge of opening talks with Yamaha about possibly staying with them for the 2009 World Superbike Championship.

If I'm not mistaken, Yamaha will have an all-new R1 to develop next season. That could prove counter-productive to a rider chasing wins! Of course, Troy is among the best development riders in the paddock too, so who knows. Just keep up that new found aggression on the track Corser!

NO way. pitt should get his seat back that corser took from him and did nothing with it. pitt and haga had some great races although pitt might hav't to get his head back together after the weekend.

ZX9R Steve, I guess thats why Corser is 3rd in the championship and Haga is 5th. But like all Nori fans, all his crashes were someone else's fault I suppose.

I only said that i prefer the haga-pitt pairing than haga-corser, not that corser was crap or anything, and anyway with everything all working evenly and both riders happy haga would p1ss corser off in a straight race........

I recall Pitt & Haga got along about as well as Fogarty & Hodgson in the garage, where as Corser now seems to be best chums with Haga. Go figure! Supersport seems to suit Pitt, he needs to stay there because he is just another in a long line of WSS champs who did nothing in the liter class i.e. Muggeridge, Chambon, & Foret. The jury is still out on Sofuglu, but he needs to get some decent results to consolidate his place on the team for next year. Seems Vermuelen was the exception.

Why is the jury out on Sofuglu? Oh OK lets give him another year but he hasn't done nowt this year. I think Corsa should give his undoubted talents to BMW. The crazy German *******s might just give him the ride he needs. Unlikely but it could probably be a laugh for him.

Corser althought is still going around in circles well dosent have alot of time left one decent injury and his mature body might not make the recovery to well I say who ever shows him the money take it and if he can get a third title on which ever bike that is well done to him

When Corser moves to BMW, then we might get Elias on the factory Yamaha.

Only rumours said by Whitham and Ryder.

But that would be nice I think! some fresh blood on this bike. Although for developing you need a guy like Corser or Pitt, who are brilliant in developing a bike.

ZX, your absolutely correct, its not an argument. its fact.!!! so all the rounds of WSB so far have not been straight races. Haga would be much further up the leaderboard perhaps if he didn't make novice mistakes, like making gestures when he is overtaken by his superiors and then throws it into the weeds as he loses control.. yeh class act.. I sincerely hope he learns from his stupidity. I understand his popularity, but you have to admit time is running out for the Samurai, and he wont keep bouncing. So call a truce OK. I have no favourites, I just like good racing, and honest reports, no bias. Agree about Pitt though, I sincerely hope he can recover.
