'A battle Craig Jones couldn't win'.

Craig Jones' parents and girlfriend have paid tribute to the World Supersport star, who died in a high-speed accident at Brands Hatch on Sunday.

It was good that Craig had people who were close to him when he went and a fantastic tribute to the kind of guy he was, that JT left the gig to rush to be at his bedside.
RIP Jonesy, you're already missed.

Well JT has gone up in my estimation no end, that was a very touching and human thing to do, well done James.

I'm still in shock at the loss of poor Craig, we'll miss you mate!

I've warmed to JT since he went to Moto GP and have heard how motivated and determined to succeed he is.
A pity we couldn't have seen Jonesy on a GP bike backing it in, he might have been able to show Elias a thing or two on that score!

Race Fans always remember the great things that their heros did not their tragic end. Hisys battle with Foggy at the TT Joey, well where do i start?,Ollie his whole persona.I could go on. Craigs battles on the track with him sliding in at awsome angles will be my memories i hope that all of us can take comfort with that and remember he was having a fantastic time.God bless you mate x

It's still on my mind and I'm in Aus. It's sort of a fraternity thing. My thoughts are with his family and friends and Andrew Pitt as well.

Just when i think i've had my last tears i read this and it all comes back again and i'm just a fan who's met him a couple of times. His family, friends and his partner must be going through hell and i wish i could do something to take a little of their pain away

Craig had the most extreme riding style i have ever seen and watching him race were always fun! He gave all he had at every race and that´s a true racer!
My thoughts are with Craig´s family and friends

R.I.P Craig!

As a parent I so feel for his mum and dad, girlfriend and everyone who cared for him. I just hope Andrew Pitt isn't beating himself up about it. Bike racing is dangerous and everyone respects that.

The crash looked bad but I didn't expect to wake up the next day to the news that Craig had passed away. A loss of a great talent who had so much more to give to the sport...

RIP Craig.

My deepest sympathies to Karen and Craig's parents, sisters and close friends. Also to Andrew Pitt: a terrible racing accident. It was my first ever visit to a WSS and I was enthralled by this great man's speed, skill and courage. Sadly, my wife and I witnessed the accident that has left us so numb. Our thoughts, prayers and love are with you all at this terrible time. RIP Craig, P+M.
