The memory of the late Craig Jones is set to live on at the new Parkalgar circuit in Portugal after it was confirmed a corner will be named after him and a memorial will be erected in his honour.
Nice thought, but someting should be done at brands as well. Even a memorial, big and bronze!

We are going to be taking flags and there's a big drive to get t-shirts in honour of him out for Donny. I think the plan is that all profits will got charity. Will post more when i know more about it. I'd hope that the vast majority of those going are up for doing the same, no matter who you are supporting on the day/weekend
The organisers are arranging a minute's silence in honor of Jonesy on Sunday probably after the first Superbike race. Will keep you posted with more details when I get them
Very nice thought by Parkalgar... naming part of a circuit is a very fitting tribute for a racer.
This is just my opinion (so please don't take it personally) but not sure I agree with having a number of memorials at different places and it doesn't need to be big and bronze for people to remember Craig.
Naming the corner after him is an understated and dignified (much like Craig's family) way of keeping his memory in the racing community.

a very nice touch by all concerned, i like the way the circuit will name the most demanding corner after Craig, im sure this suits his whole character.
I hope he's remembered in the right way at Donny for the next WSB round

I'm still stunned and shocked that Craig Jones is gone. He follows a long line of greats to have passed on while living their dreams: Joey Dunlop, David Jeffries, and now Craig Jones is added to that list...Godspeed mates! Your spirits will forever ride on with me!

It will be an honour to remember craig at Donington WSBK. I would love it to be a minutes applause. I think I will wear a black arm band. What ever it is done it will be a fitting tribute

Just walked through the services on the A1 and saw MCN and it still shocks me even now.
Think the T shirt idea is excellent. Please keep us posted as to how, when and how much
