Ellison ready to make an impression.

Ellison ready to make an impression.

James Ellison believes there is no reason why he doesn't have a shot at a podium finish ahead of his wild-card World Superbike appearance at Donington Park this weekend.

Sorry James but the competition will be too strong as there is a huge depth of field in WSB this year. Top ten at best I reckon.

If it rains, then I don't see why not! Hope all the British riders do well this weekend.

I have to agree Nori Fan, it's one thing to get on the podium occasionally in BSB but
to do it in WSB will be tough! I think James needs better machinery if he is to do that.

Good luck to him. For me he has been one of the revelations in BSB this year but I think he will have his work cut out for him riding a BSB spec bike against WSBK spec bikes, including Kiyo on the Ten Kate.

If you can get on the podium in BSB, with a bit of luck, theres no reason not to in WSB... the back straight at Donington will favour the WSB bikes, but some Ellison style bravery down Craner curves could make up for it! Good luck to all the British lads... i'll be cheering for all of you.

A BSB one two would be nice. Any 2 from 4

I'm not sure where i read it but i think Ellison will use a WSB spec engine this weekend. Does anyone else remember reading that or did i just dream it?

I think James will struggle with his injury to his wrist. Hope not. But I have actually seen him finish on a Podium before with an ice pack on his broken scafoid.
But this is big boy stuff and James is not a Kid anymore. I wish him and EVERY wildcard rider a brilliant week end
