Haga blames spray for disqualification.

Sort Comments:

Haga blames spray for disqualification.

Disqualified Noriyuki Haga blamed the excessive spray for not heeding the calls to come into the pit-lane for his drive-thru penalty on a weekend to forget for the Yamaha rider.

I'm one of your biggest fans Nori but you can't come up with a 'lame-duck' excuse like that!!!
You're a professional and you knew that you had a 'ride through' penalty to come. You also know that the only way of communication from your team is via your pit-board. Its your responsibilty to ensure youto check its information.
Bad weekend, dude!!

Have to agree with you, he had an absolute nightmare this weekend and has to take some responsibility for that.
Go #41!

Well, he was in pits just one minute before the race direction gave him the signal to come in. The decision was made before the start and this fact knew Nori. Why do the officials do not show him the ride through sign from the very first lap on? He came in in lap 2 and they show him the sign first time at lap 3... why?

In the first race it was his fault, no question. But in race 2 you can't blame him because in my opinion he did nothing wrong. He accepted the decision and came in...

Fair play Norman, haven't seen the raceS on tv yet cos i was too busy getting rained on at the track. First race was very poor though, he was out there too long and it caused others to crash. He's had better weekends, thats for sure

No doubt he could not see the oil and smoke billowing out of his bike because of the excessive spray as well! I have not heard his excuse for that yet

As an ex-marshall I would have been really p!ssed off with Haga continuing around the track when he knew he was blowing oil and smoke out. It obviously makes it dangerous for the riders and makes it a huge problem for the poor suckers having to clean up his mess. Very unprofessional and he should know better.

I am certtain that the rules do not allow a penalty for a race one violation to be served during race two - race control just made that up on the hoof. The correct penalty for his race one violation is a fine. Hagas behaviour in race one was disgraceful and inexcusable and very nearly caused serious injury to his own team mate and other riders. I wouldn't be surprised if Corser and a few others feel like decking him!

Remember Anorak, it's only Max thats a menace to the other riders with his antics. Haga endangered all around him.....And still is the hero
