After all this talk of going out to win, he was outshone by Ellison, Sykes and Crutchlow on the track he's supposedly an expert on. Sykes managed to stay on with a dry weather setting in the second race and Haslam made a schoolboy error at the Old Hairpin.

I don't like to see riders go down, but both times made my laugh my man boobs off!

It was noticed that he didnt even touch the power when the back end went.
It was simply a lack of grip, wet patch, whatever.

And as for all this rubbish about Leon deserving to be knocked off, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves. The BSB boys did this country proud on Sunday afternoon.
Up against some of the greatest riders the world has ever seen (Bayliss, haga, Corser etc) they showed their class.

Leon kept pace with Bayliss and had already comfortably passed Sykes before he was cleaned out.

Also, ive seen worse riding this year than haslam taking sykes down at croft that have all gone unpunished.

actually his other halfs name is olivia, not holly, and leon deserved a podium for his riding all weekend.

Cal deserved his podium, as did Sykes. Leon deserved every bit of gravel rash he got from this weekend.

Everyone else let their riding do the talking, whether it was Hickman, Kirkham, Kennaugh, Martin, Frost, Rea, Laverty, Linfoot, Rea, Ellison, Lowes, Burrell or Walker. Nobody else opened their mouths and ended up looking like a complete chump.

I can't believe what i'm reading! Haslam rode well all weekend and was unfortunate not to get better results. In this article he says that he understands people get over ambitious whilst racing and doesn't dig his heels in over the rolfo incident even though he's had no apology. He apologised to Sykes at oulton for his own "over ambitious" move, and i'm certain Tom holds no contempt over it....So why do you lot? As for his riding style (flapping his legs) upsetting some "fans"... well so what? You think you can ride faster with your style? Racing is very confidence dependent, if you're not confident, you don't go quick. So talking a good race before the event can only help on the day.

I'm just curious to know why so many people who read this site seem to dislike Haslman Jr. What exactly has the lad done to upset so many people ?

Its more of what he hasnt done, Hi is a bit bit like a governmet official, Talk the talk, Be given the chances, And when nothing comes of it its not his fault.
I cant dislike the Guy, I dont know him that well, But what i do know is that he is a waste of a factory ride, There are far more tallented young Brits who keep their mouths shut and let thier riding do the talking. Put James ellison on that bike and see How well He go's. I belive Ellison has earned that ride, Leon has a famous dad and won a scooter championship when he was 15.........

Don't get me wrong on this...I'm a Sykes and Ellison fan from the supersport and Superstock days respectively... and i'm always cheering them over Leon in the BSB, but I don't think Leon deserves the abuse he gets on here. Let's not forget the £h!t bikes he's ridden in the past...I remember this same mentality towards Toseland before he started winning, always on top bikes and never getting the results, team managers saw something in him that they probably see in Haslam as well, just because we don't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there....
