Suppose you can look at it 2 ways - there is a mass exodus, but BSB is obviously an important breeding ground for riders. Therefore its growing reputation might attract even more impressive names to the fold.
Nice to see lots of Brits up there now!

Greensleeves, his current team are graduating him to their WSB squad (Althea Honda). A slightly strange one given that he's had any hardly running time in WSS with the injuries he's had but i'm just glad he's got a ride for next year although am unsure how competitive they will be.

Haslam will not progress well this year in WSB. There are 3 "A List" teams and then the rest, Ten Kate Honda, Xerox Ducati, Yamaha Italia, if you don't have a seat on one of those you will not be contending.
It's not that the bloke isn't talented he is bloody marvelous, but you cant help wondering why he can't get a top seat and Tom Sykes can

Tom got in nice and early somewhow and got a great berth, still not sure how he managed to get that ride lol. Seems anyone bar Nori, TC and TB would want that seat for next year!

could have won BSB in 2009 - all the main opposition would have gone to WSB. Sykes got the plumb ride because he raced at both Brands and Donners in WSB and finished well in both. Haslam wasn't at Brands......

Didn't Leon race against Stiggy when they were both doing 500GP's (or 250's??) in 2001ish??

@Seadoubleyou Stiggy was a sidecar champion wasn't he? Leon was on that shell advance v twin piece of cr@p in 2001. Anyone know if ten kate are gonna prepare their bikes? I think the supersports are aren't they? Then again I might have dreamt that one!

I think Stiggy has only done this deal to have Olly the brolly, i know stiggo has a great bird himself, but Olly's nice to look at as well. come on Olly! Maybe stig should take haslam of the grid and just have Olly standing there.

No.... ignore that last comment...definitely not a sidecar rider! dunno where I got that from? I don't remember him at all....

Stiggy was a 250GP rider, a privateer, for years...he raced against McWilliams, that sort of era.

I think Mr Shane Byrne might have something to say about that. The story is he's contracted directly to Ducati and will be on an F09 the same as Haga and Fabrizio next year, plus will have a direct link into Ducati themselves, so besides learning a few WSBK circuits that didn't feature on the MotoGP calendar in 2004/05, he'll be on it from the word go in my opinion. Plus if the Aprilia is any good, and Biaggi clicks with it, he'll be in there mixing it as usual. Got 2 years circuit knowledge under his belt now too.
