We are all aware of what happened earlier in the year and how tragic the whole accident was. But an accident is exactly what it was. For both Craig and Andrew, it was a tragic case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Comments such as the one that has been removed from this thread will not be tolerated and we appreciate such comments being reported.

Please keep comments relevant to the article. Everyone was affected by Craig's death, as shown by the many comments posted at the time, and it benefits no-one to use the accident for the purposes of starting an argument or attack a rider involved in such a tragic incident.

I don't blame him for being a bit annoyed about the Ten Kate situation as remember he was royaly stiffed by Yamaha when they dropped him for Corser. I hope he signs for another team in WSBK as he has worked hard to get where he is now.

It would be hard to say that REA would have beat PITT on SUNDAY but I sure wish he had to see what way things would have panned out after that
