Congratulations Troy! Absolutely Superb ride to round off an Astonishing Bike racing career! You'll be missed in the WSBK and MotoGP paddock!
Superb ride from Haslam on a BSB spec Bike!!!! This racing fan is BADLY looking forward to next year watching the brits on factory WSB spec bikes!! Big Shocks are due!
Rea was unlucky, but it'll take him a few testing sessions to get back used to the 1000cc. BRING ON 2009 *********

You have and still are an inspiration to so many racers out there, in fact an inspiration to a lot of people whether they're involved in rcaing or not.
You conduct yourself with great dignity, perform to your utmost ability and are a true sportsman, shame others can't follow by example.
We'll miss you Troy, good luck for the future and hope that you'll still be involved in racing in some shape or form.
Your record and achievements will stand for many many years.

An amazing talent. For me he will always be a better ambassador and role model than Fogarty ever was. Great way to end a career....at the very top.
Who said "nice guys don't finish first". Racing won't be the same now he's retired. There is some talk of him becoming a test rider for Ducati. Any bets that he laps faster than Casey on the MotoGP bike?.

Way to go Baylisstic missile!! Everyday man turned WSBK champion turned Motorcycle legend. I won't know who to root for in the future, as Troy has always been my absolute favorite. Maybe Ben Spies next year. What a fighter, what a Champion!!! I wonder if Ducati will make replica bayliss 1098 bikes?..Bayliss as a test rider would be scary..your test rider faster than your riders...lol

"I wonder if Ducati will make replica bayliss 1098 bikes?"
Troy hinted that Ducati are going to create a limited edition 1098 with the same special australian flag colours livery he rode with this weekend. Not sure whether it's worldwide or just for the Australian market. Probably just Australia?
"Superb ride from Haslam on a BSB spec Bike"
They ran their bikes in WSBK spec. There's not alot of difference anyway.
Great job Troy.....you'll be missed.

Picking up the double..bloody great way to go out mate! Agree with Son..we've been rooting for you for so long, the paddock just wont be the same without your talent, and attitude. All the best for the future Troy.
Bravo! A brilliant career capped off with a final victory. Cheers to the man who made Fogarty a Ducati footnote. Well done.

Bayliss, simply Mr.WSB no question!
It's been a joy to follow Troy since he tipped up in the UK all those years ago, he was something special back then and cleared out alot of the dead wood that had been circulating in BSB. Certainly gave our domestic series a kick up the ar5e and did the same to WSB.
