YES YES YES! I give full support to Poul Bird as a official (finally!) factory manager and yes, he has the opportunity to make miracle with such an underestimated Kawasaki now. And if he does, let say, MotoGP greens gates are openDD Strongly belive in him.

Dean Dean - the riders were announced a fair while before the deal with PBM, which suggests that he didn't choose them. However if Kawasaki are now planning a proper effort there is logic in keeping Tamada for development continuity and feedback to Japanese engineers. For these reasons I think Tamada was a dead cert regardless of who took over the team management.

Tamada was a top class rider when he rode for Honda, however after spending a year with Tech 3 trying to develop Dunlop tires in moto gp and another year wasted on Kawasaki in WSB he seems to have given up, perhaps if the bike was competitive? Broc Parkes is in my opinion a retrograde step, Laconi did at least try and paid the price by crashing too much. I hope I am not wrong but I can not see things improving given Kawasaski's track record in international road racing, perhaps Paul Bird motorsports is the team to develop the bikes and give Kawasaki Japan a real shake up!
