Go Eleven leaves Sterilgarda.

Go Eleven leaves Sterilgarda.

Sterilgarda Go Eleven will be known simply as Team Sterilgarda during the 2009 World Superbike season, after its partnership with Go Eleven 'expired'.

 1 people agree.

Perhaps they should be known as Gone Eleven Sterilgarda.

Crash should do a "meet the sponsors" segment over the course of a season so we know what they are as "Go Eleven" means nothing to me.

I remember back when Biaggi was sponsored by "Chesterfield" - I thought it was a brand of teabags!

"Chesterfield"?

I thought he was sponsored by a sofa.

Lol!

Thinking back I am not sure why tea came to mind - the innocence of youth or something.

What's Sterilgarda then?
Is it some sort of mouthwash?
Or a denture cleanser?

Go Eleven was actually one of Ruben Xaus' uncles, masquarading as a sponsor. Kind of a family/inside joke type of thing.

By the time they learned the number was already taken, the stickers were already on the bike.

As they do with all things racing, those Spaniards can sometimes end up getting pretty elaborate with the jokes.

Watch out, BMW.
