Muggeridge to front Celani WSBK return.

Muggeridge to front Celani WSBK return.

Karl Muggeridge will remain in the World Superbike Championship next year after it was confirmed he will race a Suzuki prepared by Superstock graduates Team Celani.

This is a classic case of someone who would be better returning to the WSS paddock.

Absolutely, not one to denigrate riders but Karl has had plenty of chances and has still yet to get a podium. He must have some serious sponsors to keep himself in with the big boys

Sadly, I think they want Bridewell for a Superstock seat, particularly after the pace he showed in testing.

Why they have to search other riders? This year they had the most big talent of the year... Chris Seaton #23
In my opinio he's ready for SBK and in Portimao...where nobody knows the circuit...wasn't a case if he leads!!!

you are missing the point! It is because Muggas doesn't have the money backing that so many others do that he is with these teams and not further up the grid - just look at Nieto - he struggled on the PSG and got beaten regularly by Walker - now look at him. You gotta ask what a good team supporting him - and not leaving him the cold as Ten Kate did after Muggas back injury, would do to his confidence....

I think a Muggas should have done what Lavilla did a few season ago and should have come back to England and compete in BSB . Could have surely had got say an HM plant ride if he had made him self known to them and a few months ago . Then he could have done a few wildcards through out the season, got his confidence back from winning races and gone from there

Thank you for amending your article further to my comment: you could have thanked me through a further comment instead of just removing my comment and making the corrections I was suggesting.

Have to agree with Rusty - Mugga's is an awesome, gutsy rider, who's made his way through hard work and risk taking. When it all comes together he's good enough for world champion. He's always been thereabouts, no matter what ride he's had. Hopefully this year he can get some solid results that will put him back on a championship contending bike for the following season.
