Whoever wins next year will fully deserve it. That is some lineup already and I have no doubt the racing is going to once again leave MotoGP look boring.

Looks like a season of great racing. Time for silly season predictions: Ben Spies top rookie and top 3. Both Aprilia and BMW outperform Kawasaki. Champion? Could be any one of ten guys.

Great to see Jake Zemke on a Ducati, but its a shame its not a high end factory team.
On the same kit, Zemke would out perform Micheal Fabrezze boy anytime.
Champion next year? Head says Haga, heart says Sykes.

The season has barely ended, and I cannot wait for the next one. It's looking very good already. Troy will still be missed, but I'm sure WSBK will outshine all the other series, as has become the norm lately.
About Zemke on the Ducati: has anyone heard of this signing before now? I had read about it here and there, but only as a rumor. I think to would be great to see him getting in there with the big boys, and I am also quite sure he'll hold his own very well.

Go Max! The Aprilia V4 could win it in their rookie year. BMW also would be good.

Looks like another great season of superbikes. But i'm surprised Josh Brookes didn't get rewarded for 2nd in the Supersport championship with Stiggy, by being put up to the Superbike squad.

I am sure that Aprilia, BMW and the new Yamaha will be right at the front next year, judging by their testing times. Just a shame that MV Augusta isn't in SBK yet and KTM will take another year to enter if they keep their promise.
I back Noriyuki Haga for the championship, but Ben Spies will be right behind him in the standings.

I hope for Chris Seaton in World SBK, He's one of the most important talent....He needs a bike and the championship needs him! C'mon guys....

I also cant believe Brooksey didnt go to SBK. He is a SBK rider much before he is a SSpt rider. He took the HM PLant thing as it was huge money though I think he will be missed in SBK. Lets hope HM PLANT do a few wildcards for his sake! Maybe he will move straight into World SBK the following year in a top team?
I reckon Zempke will be another great addition too.

Sorry to all the Zemke fans, but I cant see him troubling the top 10!
Joshua Brookes (actually 3rd in the WSS series) will be back in SBK in 2010: that is his deal with HM plant. Boulder Ducati will not now be racing, so no Zemke. But still a pretty impressive entry with Lanzi and maybe Laconi with DF Corse.

Zemke is under 'possible signings', so that's not for definite. It's been rumoured in several places though.

Hi LJC, how do you know that Boulder/Jake Zemke won't be racing? Be a real shame if that's the case....
Hmm, my earlier post seems to have gotten lost so I'll try again.
Unless my maths fails me that's 34 riders and 7 FULL FACTORY teams competing on the WSBK grid next year! Quite a remarkable improvement on 2 years ago when there were only 19 full time riders. Hopefully in 2010 there will be an Eighth when KTM sign on the dotted line!
