With a new front end fitted to his Renegade Koji Honda Fireblade Ben Bostrom hopes to chip away at his lap times and move to the front of the paddock at the fifth round of the Corona Extra World Superbike championship.

"Things are coming on nice," commented Bostrom to Crash.net at Silverstone. "It is always easier to start off at the bottom and work your way up, instead of being kicked off the top."

"She (the bike) should come better as we have new parts and the team is working together a lot better."

This weekend the races will be held over the shorter International course at Silverstone which will enables riders to get more laps in during the practice and qualifying sessions to fine-tune their settings.

Bostrom, who needs as much time as possible to set-up the new front forks his team has added, was ecstatic at the news he would be able to get more laps in.

"It's super beneficial for me, as soon as I heard that I was all smiles!" he quipped.
