Yukio Kagayama, Ben Bostrom and Andrew Pitt have all bee slapped with penalties after infringements with the Corona Extra World Superbike championship rules.

Kagayama and Bostrom have been fined to the equivalent of £500 for being late to Superpole, whilst Pitt has been dealt a race ride through penalty for a faulty tip over switch that did not cut out his bike when he had an off in the morning warm-up.

Meanwhile Foggy Petronas were relieved to learn Gary McCoy's race ride through penalty has been overturned because the proposed rule from the FIM concerning the size and format of holes in the fairing has not yet been given the green light by the WSBK commission.
