Chris Walker and his PSG-1 Kawasaki were on a roll at Silverstone during free practice one ahead of round five of the Corona Extra Superbike World Championship heading the time sheets with a 1min 36.563secs.

The Foggy Petronas team were hoping for a good run at Silverstone after a difficult Monza, they were also hoping that the bad weather would play into their hands. In free practice that wasn't the case with Craig Jones crashing out and finishing twenty fifth and Steve Martin in twentieth.
