Former World Supersport champion and Ten Kate Honda World Superbike rider, Karl Muggeridge, will remain in the premier-class next season after signing to ride a Bertocchi Honda in 2007.

Despite regular bursts of speed, Muggeridge frustrating failed to take a podium finish during his two seasons on a Ten Kate Superbike and was always expected to be replaced at the lead Honda team for 2007.

The identity of James Toseland's team-mate looks like being former grand prix rider Roberto Rolfo, although no official announcement has yet been made and former WSBK champion Neil Hodgson still remains unsigned - although the Englishman is increasingly linked to the unconfirmed Foggy Racing project.

Meanwhile, Muggeridge was expected to be offered a WSS ride by Ten Kate for 2007 but, according to the official WSBK website, the 32-year-old will ride alongside fellow Australian Josh Brookes on a second Team Alto Evolution Bertocchi Honda.
