A review of the Phillip Island race two photo-finish between Max Neukirchner and Michel Fabrizio, has seen eighth place awarded to the German.

A review of the Phillip Island race two photo-finish between Max Neukirchner and Michel Fabrizio, has seen eighth place awarded to the German.

The FIM was informed by official WSBK time-keeper 'Perugia Timing' that a review had established, in contrast to the initial ruling, that Neukirchner crossed the finish line 15/1000 of a second in front of Fabrizio.

After checking the evidence, the FIM and Race Direction released a revised classification with Neukirchner eighth and Fabrizio ninth. The decision is final and no protest can be lodged.
