The talented Turk dominated the race and was only challenged early on by his team-mate and current World Supersport Champ, Sebastien Charpentier.
British rider Craig Jones got his long awaited podium finish for his Reve Ekerold Honda team. He had been running in fourth place but Broc Parkes made an exuberant passing manoeuvre on Robbin Harms which didn't work and resulted in them both crashing out of podium positions on the last lap.
The final step of the podium was gifted to Fabien Foret on the GIL Motorsport Kawasaki. Massimo Roccoli took fourth place ahead of Josh Brookes who had been further up the running order early in the race but dropped back as it progressed.
Katsuaki Fujiwara took sixth place on his Althea Honda to head off David Checa on the GMT 94 Yamaha.
Charpentier despite his early charge only finished in eighth place while his name sake Sebastien Gimbert took ninth leaving Barry Veneman in tenth.
