He does have the benefit of a year at World level on the Pirelli tyres which could hamper other people trying to make the same move. “I was in this paddock in 2004 and it was the first year of the Pirelli tyres. For me, over a lot of other people who are trying for rides, I have had a year in World Superbikes, I know the tracks, I know the tyres and for me I'm feeling confident we will be here next year and hopefully it will be with Ducati,” he finished.
