As the rumour mill ramps up for silly season one of the more interesting rumors is that, as previously reported, Fonsi Nieto could jump ship from Kawasaki to Suzuki to join the 'Roman Emperor' Max Biaggi.

At the eleventh round of the Corona Extra Superbike World Championship at the Eurospeedway in Germany, Crash.net Radio spoke to Nieto about next year.

"After this weekend I start to think for next year. I don't know, at the moment 70 per cent I stay in this team, they have helped me so much and give me confidence. So if they like it is possible to continue next year," he said.

However, a paddock insider later told Crash.net, "I think he has given you a bum steer on that one. He looks 80 per cent likely to go to Suzuki."

Nieto is a big name in Spain and would bring further European interest to the team. That coupled with Biaggi's star status and the pair's GP experience it could make for an extremely strong team both on and off the track.
