Crash.net:
How do you feel your race went?

Tommy Hill:
It was a good consistent race and a good result again. I'm pretty gutted at the start I had. It wasn't the best, there was a problem with the clutch basket, and the team were going to look at it. They have come across this problem before so it could be same again where the clutch basket gets heated up and expands causing the clutch plates to grip up. As I was letting the clutch out it kept on biting on it and stopping me. So a bad start and I just got my head down really and chipped my way through. The Brits were on a bit of a freight train with me and Jonesy on our way through.

I pulled Craig in once, I was just 0.45secs off him and my grip started to go. I was a bit gutted as I could have had a bit of a go and make a break, but it could have ended in tears with us two Brits going for it. Consistent result, the team are happy, it is good with Broc winning another race. We are setting our sights on Vallelunga now, another track that I've not ridden on. I had flown out there a few months ago to test but politics took its toll and I couldn't get out riding. Bit unfortunate for me as I at least would have had some track time, so it is a new track for me but the weather should be a bit better so I can get a lot of track time.

Will we also see you at Magny-Cours?

TH:
That is the plan to do the last two rounds of the World Championship for the World Supersport team so it is good for me. I'm just trying to keep my options open at the moment and I am speaking to quite a few teams in this paddock as well as the British Championship which is good. It's just trying to find the best route and find the best package, not so much the best deal just the best package for me. I want to be winning races, put a smile back on my face.

Crash.net:
Has anything come up this weekend at the Eurospeedway?

TH:
I've had a few meetings with a few people and a few teams. It looks promising but again some of these major teams are having meetings with a lot of people. They seem keen and I hope to get an answer next week. We'll just have to see what happens, it all starts falling into place now as it is silly season.

Crash.net:
Broc Parkes has admitted he is disappointed that you won't be his team-mate, how does that make you feel?

TH:
Me and Broc get on well. We can speak to each other too, he is an Aussie, and I'm British so we have good craic. It came as a bit of a shock to me because we never really had a chance to sit down and have a chat and just discuss the plans and discuss what the deal was. You know what I get, what they want to do and where they want to take me. It was a phone call to say we are going to test you at Magny-Cours, see how you go.
