Ruben Xaus looks set to stay with Sterilgarda next season following the news that a company which manages the Spaniard, Go Eleven, has invested in the team.

The team, which currently runs Xaus on factory-backed year-old 999s, will thus be known as 'Sterilgarda Go Eleven' and, although rider line-up and machinery are still be officially announced for 2008, Xaus on the new 1098 Ducati seems likely.

"We have wanted this partnership so much, it is the natural evolution of the collaboration with Ruben Xaus," said Go Eleven co-founder Giovanni Ramello. "[While] managing his image and his sponsor relations we have seen the work of GMB Racing during the last two seasons, in which our rider ran for it, and we have judged it positively. We have decided to invest in it, proposing to our partners the possibility of a world wide visibility linked with the team and the rider for the 2008 season."

Xaus, the 2003 World Superbike runner-up, is the only non-factory rider to win a WSBK race this season.
