Having retaken second in the World Superbike championship from Noriyuki Haga last weekend at Vallelunga, Max Biaggi intends to put as much pressure as possible on James Toseland in this weekend's title decider.

"I was very disappointed not to race last weekend, but even I realised that it would have been a pointless exercise," said Yuki. "It is not as if I had been going for the title or second place, so there was no need for me to race and maybe crash again. Really, I should not race this weekend, but I want to if I can! I do not want to end the season sitting around the pits and doing nothing, because I am a racer and I want to race!"

Alstare Suzuki is yet to announce its 2008 rider line-up.
