The enlarged 15-round line-up contains two confirmed new venues, Miller Motorsports Park in the USA and Portimao in Portugal, plus two 'To Be Announced' events.

The Salt Lake City round will be, like WSBK's previous American venue Laguna Seca - lost to MotoGP in 2005 - for the Superbike class only.

The two unknown dates could yet be occupied by Silverstone and Lausitz, which are both currently missing from the provisional 2008 line-up.
