Roberto Rolfo will remain in the World Superbike championship next season after signing to ride for Hannspree Honda Althea.

2008 will be the former 250GP star's third year in WSBK, and his third new team, after riding for Caracchi Ducati in 2006 and Hannspree Ten Kate Honda in 2007 - where he was overshadowed by world champion James Toseland.

The Italian, seventh overall last season, will ride the latest CBR1000RR for Althea, which is also entering Tommy Hill and Gianluca Nannelli in the World Supersport class.

With Toseland moving to MotoGP, Carlos Checa, Ryuichi Kiyonari and Kenan Sofuoglu will ride for Hannspree Ten Kate Honda in 2008.
